Anne’s approach to design is defined by two things: an undeniable love for classic interiors and an uncompromising attention to detail. As an interior design graduate from Sheridan College and an Accredited Staging Professional™ (ASP®), she brings both formal expertise and a sharp, trained eye to every project.

A detour with a silver lining

While Anne’s passion has always been in design, life initially took her on a different path. Seeking stability while starting a family, she took a detour into corporate accounting, spending a decade working for a global hearing aid manufacturer. It was a rewarding chapter spent helping others, but it also secretly sharpened a skill every design client appreciates: a strict respect for spreadsheets, timelines, and budgets. All the while, Anne kept her creative spark alive by staging and decorating for friends and family.

Back to her roots

The turning point came during a personal house hunt. Walking through homes with her realtor, Anne felt her true passion reignite. She knew it was time to leap. Leaving the corporate world behind, she launched Refined Staging & Interiors full-time, and she hasn’t looked back since.

Today, Anne leverages her diverse background, which includes working with furniture and fabric showrooms, as well as learning from award-winning designer Jane Lockhart, to help clients fall in love with their homes.

      

​Up close & personal

When she isn't transforming spaces, Anne is a busy mom of two. You can usually find her spending time with her husband and kids,  singing soprano or creating floral arrangements at her church, hitting the golf course (whenever time permits), cheering at the soccer field or relaxing at the family cottage in Muskoka. Unsurprisingly, Anne is happiest near the water - a love that inspires her signature appreciation for coastal interiors, timeless design, and every shade of blue.
